Youth fund defaulters in Kisii county has been called upon to repay or else be blacklisted from accessing any government loan.
According to Kisii county youth fund representative Christine Magoma, most of the youth groups in the county have defaulted from paying loans that they were given by the National government.
Mrs Magoma said that the youths should ensure that they repay the loans so that more youths can benefit from the loans.
"We are predicting a future where the government cannot sustain the loans that are being given to the youth because most of the groups have already defaulted," she added.
The officer also noted that only 40% of the total loans disbursed to youths in the county were being serviced thus denying other eligible applicants an opportunity to borrow from the revolving fund.
She further regretted that only 7% of the loans disbursed under the Uwezo Funds in the county were being repaid.
The officer was speaking on Monday at Kisii county hall while addressing a number of youth groups.
