Led by Chairman Victor Angwenyi, Esise youth group members were categorical that by mid this year the vehicle will be in place and it will boost them economically.

“We are targeting a tipper as a long term investment. By June we would have amassed enough contribution to the mega project without much aid from our leaders,” said chairman Victor Angwenyi.

He said that the group has already contributed Sh3.3Million shillings from small projects they have been doing such as tree nursery beds, poultry farming and tea farming business and they only needed a little more cash to achieve their grand goal.

“We have been doing some small businesses mainly farming and this has been very essential to our survival. We are just few steps from reaching our destiny,” added Angwenyi.

According to him, the vehicle will also be available for hiring in the competitive construction industry hence it will generate income that will sustain their families.

“Construction industry needs such investments. It will be out there for hire and I am sure we will make profits that will sustain our families,” said the chairman.

They urged fellow youths to emulate them so that they can survive in the harsh economic environment experienced and as a way of developing the area due to global economic downtown.
