Youths in Flamingo estate in Nakuru will benefit from a mentorship program meant to empower them.
Speaking on Saturday at Flamingo grounds during the launch of the project dubbed Eddy Kiragu 10 agenda project, the program initiator Eddy Kiragu said most youths in the area have been engaging in odd acts due to lack of mentorship.
He called on parents and the society at large to support the program which focuses on empowering the youths. Some of the aspects in the program is entrepreneurship, group formation and registration, talents and gifts, early pregnancies, drug and substance abuse, self awareness and spiritual guidance among others.
"As we launch this program, I want to call upon all parents and society to support it so that we can change this society,"said Kiragu.
