Opposition top leaders have been urged to crack the whip by disciplining the legislatures who disrupted the president's state of the nation address on Thursday.

Langata Youth Network leader, Daniel Orogo has criticised the actions of a section of opposition MPs who caused chaos in the parliament forcing President Uhuru Kenyatta to wait for almost half an hour before embarking on his speech delivery.

"Raila Odinga, please discipline the members of ODM and CORD who disrupted the state of nation address, it showed a complete disrespect not only to the of head of state but a mockery to the citizenship of Kenya, you also risk losing the support of undecided voters in the upcoming elections 2017," expressed Orogo on a Facebook post.

"Whenever you see a mace placed at National Assembly, it becomes a sacred house. The president always has a time with the MPs outside the house chambers after addressing the house, they could have taken advantage of that to blow the whistle not inside the Assembly," he added.
