Kimani said the utterances were reckless.

“His words are meant to bring chaos especially now that the county had started enjoying the fruits of peace. They were unfounded and unnecessary and he should apologize to the luo community,” he said.

“Youth should get rid of politicians who have run out of ideas and the only thing they know is creating tension and surviving on hitting at others. Youth should work to ensure that such leaders don't get elected in the next election,” he added

Kimani said Raila was free to visit Nakuru.

“He has a right as any Kenyan to enjoy the freedom as enshrined in the Constitution,”Kimani said

He was speaking at a press conference on Monday where he called for a legal action to be taken against Ngunjiri.

“If unchecked this might cause a lot of confrontation among the youths. We have worked so hard to bridge peace in the grassroots to an extent that many of them do not have a problem with each other. However, it is these politicians who come to remind them that they are from different tribes,” he added.

He appealed to all the tribes to ignore Ngunjiri's words, as he has 'no powers to say who lives where'.
