Ms Agnes Nyambane a student at Kisii University said she was happy with the early notice that condoms were fake so taht she takes precaution.
“We are frustrated by the cartels that have been importing or manufacturing fake condoms hence risking our lives and therefore its high time we avoid sex” said Nyambane.
Another youth from Kisii, Davis Okero urge the government to ensure that they carry an intensive crack down on those circulating the fake condoms.
“The news is really shocking and I hope i have not fallen victim. I ask the Government to carry out a crackdown and arrest those behind thisthis," said Mr Okero.
Their sentiments comes at a time the world celebrates International Condom Day on February 13.
