Addressing the small youth groups in Suneka town on Tuesday, Bogiakumu Ward MCA Richard Bundi said without the youth’s involvement in agriculture, the sector cannot see the advancement required to make it viable.

Richard assured the youth of the support from the county, he said the county has set aside funds that youth in the county need to borrow to start small farming which will eventually grow and give them more in come.

“We are happy that the county is in full support for the youth who want to venture into business and who want to enlarge farming in the county, we have set aside funds which registered groups will get so that they can do their part and pay in instalments with the time frame that we will agree,” said Bundi.

He added, “The County’s soil is rich and fertile therefore there is no loss that will be faced in the farming sector for any wiling youth. I urge the youths to register their groups and make sure they have the certificates for them to be able to get loans for the farming.”
