Youth across Kisii county have been urged to ensure that they engage in meaningful activities during the festive season and ensure that they keep themselves from anti-social behavior, as the country gears towards the 2017 polls.

According to Jason Ondabu a parliamentary aspirant for Bomachoge Chache, the youth stand to be the face of the society as they have the numbers compared to others.

Speaking during Ondabu cup quarter finals 1 at Mokubo ground on Tuesday evening, Ondabu said that leaders from the area need to initiate peace and stop using youths for their personal interest above all create jobs for them.

“I am the leader who has always fought for the youth and I would like to ensure that all the youths from the area are well mentored and create opportunities for them as they are the eye of the society,” he added.

The ongoing cup is sponsored by Jason Ondabu who is also a parliamentary aspirant and finals are set for Christmas eve.
