Kangundo Constituency Youth leader Moses Mutaa has urged youths from Machakos County to be peaceful and avoid politicians who have no interest in development.
Speaking on Sunday during a church service in Masewani Catholic Church, Mutaa pleaded with the youth not to accept any offers from politicians given to them with an intention of disturbing peace.
“I challenge the youth from our county to learn from successful people who concentrate on matters that benefit them both financially and economically and not heed to selfish politicians who are duping them for their own benefits,” said Mutaa.
He also advised youths from the county who are still in Colleges and Varsities to work hard to uplift their livelihoods and shape their future.
“Whether one intends to venture into business or to get employed in almost every sect, education is very important. Both these need knowledge, the only thing that we can get from our parents which can benefit us is education so those who are still studying should do their best to make their lives better,” said Mutaa.
He also asked leaders from Machakos and Makueni Counties to avoid unnecessary political wrangles and instead work together in their respective counties to improve the lives of the people who voted for them.
