Nakuru youths have welcomed IEBC commissioners' decision to quit.
Youth advisor to the governor Kimani wa Kimani said the move is welcome as it will bring to an end anti-IEBC poll.
"Let's see what their main motive was. There must have been something sinister and their stepping down will lead to many unanswered questions. I've been wondering what interest they had and maybe this time it might be revealed" he said of Cord co-principals.
He said it was unfortunate Cord opted to have street protests.
"There were better ways to solve this stalemate. They might have gone to court or even used Parliament" he added.
He was addressing the press on Thursday where he commended the commissioners.
Esther Kimani, a youth leader, said another crop of commissioners will ensure the 2017 polls are credible.
"They (Cord) kept on saying that there was rigging and the commissioners were not fair.Let's see if they will have a problem in case they lose again" She said
