The old politicians across Kisii county have a reason to fear as the emerging youthful are likely to take over in 2017 general elections.
According to a Kisii based political scientist and a lecture in one of the local university Keragori Mokua, the political trends in the area are changing and the youth are more unified and well ganged up against the old politicians.
Mokua said that most of the youths now believe old politicians are the reason why they are suffering and above all, they are the reason for their unemployment so they are ready to embrace change come 2017.
“The youth are following their own pattern and they have come together towards changing leadership trends and believe me, they will vote out many of the current politicians and moreso those who have been in power for many years likes of Obure,” he added.
Mokua was speaking in his office in Kisii on Saturday during an exclusive interview.
