Nyamira County youths have accused the county Governor John Nyagarama for failing to improve the state of Nyamira level 5 hospital.
The youths led by Ben Mogaka said the state of the hospital is poor and patients seeking health services at the facility have been forced to go to toilets outside the facility.
"It is worrying that Governor Nyagarama and his self centered Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo are doing nothing to improve the state of our health facilities.
"Currently there is no water for patients to use at Nyamira Level 5 hospital. Patients are using toilets outside the hospital because there is not water to flush in the facility's toilets," said Mogaka.
According to Mogaka, Nyagarama and his deputy Mr Nyaribo are after enriching themselves and not serving the people of Nyamira.
"Nyagarama left the county to the US to be treated after he developed limps problem instead he could seek medication in the county's hospitals.
"Nyaribo is also interested in sacking workers who are not loyal to him. This is a clear indication that the people of Nyamira elected failures and not leaders who will help in developing Nyamira county," he added.
He called on Nyamira county MCAs to ensure more funds are allocated to the health docket to help in drilling more boreholes to increase the supply of water across the county.
