Kisumu County youth forum is now calling upon area leaders to embrace peace and give Governor Jack Ranguma time to deliver his promises.
The forum chairperson, Nyaori Nyang, said leaders must pull together for the realization of good development. Nyaori said constant wrangling among the leaders in the county is a drawback for the implementation of development.
“Our leaders must now work hand in hand with the Governor for the residents to realize sound development,” said Nyang.
Speaking in Nyamasaria when they led the plantation of tress in schools and homes, Nyaori urged leaders to gave governor time to fulfill his promises.
Nyaori said Ranguma will be judged by his deeds come 2017 and leaders should not pull him down. He said peace must prevail in the county for development to be realised across the county.
Nyaori said the governor has so far delivered on roads, water and lighting in the county and must be supported further. “We can now see expanded access roads, clean water and lights everywhere in Kisumu town,” said Nyang.
He said leaders who have issues should not use the public forums to settle their scores but instead they should approach the county leadership and find solution to their problems.
