The youths who operate under 'Baraka Young Farmers Society' have become talk of the Machakos town and its environs.

They sell their produce in Machakos and neighboring Kiambu County.

After maturity, tomatoes are sold to locals and market traders at wholesale prices .

The group's chairman Jimie Musau has on Onion,Tomato and Watermelon Farming Facebook Page invited interested Young entrepreneurs to join them and make the society grow.

"Come let's join hands together and make Baraka Society a Gold mine for Young entrepreneurs," Jimie Musau posted on the Facebook page.

He added: "Our Major goal is to make every other youth benefit from the profits we make. We later contribute to buy more seedlings and buy land for the same."
