Makina youths have expressed their intention to put to task the area politicians as a way of seeking employment and investment opportunities.

The youths claim they are yet to benefit from the youth fund that has been marred to corruption scandals and so they would wait no more to act.

The group is targeting unity in empowerment sports, sacco loans and businesses that can earn them viable financial developments in the long run. This comes at a time when the Kibera MP, Ken Okoth, is in the process of initiating a talent search programme in his constituency through sports.

Kibera youths are among many other Kenyans that have been making frequent applications to the youth fund but not even one of them has benefited from the sh6, 000, 000 that the Jubilee government reported to have set aside for the youth and the women. The question that every Kenyan youth is asking is where are these monies?

It is just a fortnight ago that President Kenyatta suspended the youth fund bosses over mismanagement of funds and no report has since been made public on further developments.
