According to them led by youth Governor John Otao the current leaders have failed to address challenges facing the youths across the county.

This comes barely after the controversial election bill was passed by the Senators where the nominated Senator Hosea Onchwagi voted on behalf of Senator Chris Obure.

The youths, therefore, accused the elected Senator Chris Obure of using Nominated Senator Hosea Ochwangi to vote on behalf of the Kisii community delegation.

“We want to categorically state that the current leaders have failed to address challenges facing Youths, the best solution is to send them home in august by replacing them with young energetic youths who are ready to transform this county and country in large,” said Otao.

“What we saw in the Senate when the controversial election bill was being discussed was just embarrassing to the community after our elected Senator gave a Jubilee nominated Senator rights to vote on his behalf in favor of Jubilee,” said Otao.

Otao added that they are going to ensure that in the coming general election youths are going to vie for all elective posts as one way of sending the incumbent leaders home for failing to address challenges facing the youths in Kisii county.

“As youths, we have been able to deliberate our issues and come up with a resolution to have youths in all elective posts and make sure they win the coming general election," added Otao.

At the same time, they called upon Senator Obure to come out and declare his political stand.

They were addressing the media at Kisii hotel on Friday.
