He said job opportunities are limited hence the need to have entrepreneurship skills.

Speaking during a one day ICT Digital Literacy Training on Monday,  Sang said the youth need to be equipped with technological skills for them to earn a living.

"As a ministry, we want to empower youths through such training which are aimed at equipping them with digital skills, that will enable them use their technological skills to earn a living through using the social media," noted Sang.

He added that the training will be devolved to the six sub counties to help the youth gain expertise that will equip then with entrepreneurial skills.

The one day training was organised by Uasin Gishu's Department of ICT and e-Government in collaboration with Soen Technologies and Digify Bytes.

Hundreds of youths attended the event.
