Kisumu County lobby groups have been encouraged to promote youth’s education as their agenda to foster development.
The resident’s spokesperson Audi Ogada speaking on Wednesday to a group of youths at Tom-Mboya labour college, challenged the youths to encourage education agenda among them stating that it’s through education that they would access various avenues.
According to him by them creating lobby groups, it would put them on the check as they could be easily noticed and be funded, he encouraged youths to foster in development and also embrace education as away to grow.
He further noted that it’s through education that youth can become responsible citizens from a mere ascribed status to achieved status, according his statements he called upon youths to link one another in various actions they did.
“We call upon youths to focus on the youth education as a way of growing in knowledge and having easy way to acquire more a venues,” said Audi.
Nominated MCA Lydia Odhiambo also at the event encouraged youths to foster in education by encouraging themselves in their various lobby groups, she stated that they were looking forward to come up with a bill that supports the youth education.
