Flamingo MCA Moses Gichangi has called on youths from Flamingo and Nakuru County to further their education from form four Levels.
Gichangi has revealed that most people in the area have not furthered their education from Secondary Education.
The MCA advised the youths to not only take advantage of the basic education, but also go a mile to build a strong foundation of their future.
Gichagi, who was speaking to a group of youths in his Ward on Monday evening advised them to apply for bursary, which every student applying from University gets Sh7,000 per Semester, while those in college get a similar amount.
He further advised them to apply for both County and CDF Bursary, which according to the MCA, will help relieve their guardian burden of raising the school fees.
He revealed that those already in institutions of higher learning are assisted in getting Internship.
“Those who already are in school can come to my office and I will help them get Interns and employment as when opportunity arises,” said Gichangi.
Flamingo Ward has got many youths who are semi-illiterate, and the MCA has said he will try his best to assist them in getting jobs even if not white collar jobs,
At the same time, the MCA advised the youths not to be biased with the type of jobs they pick, since the demands are high and one has to start from a perspective way to be successful.
