Ruth said the youth should restrain from causing chaos during the burial ceremony or even when the body arrives in Kisumu tomorrow.

She said Fidel was close to several youths in the country and urged them to bear the pain occasioned by the loss.

“Fidel was heading several youth groups in the country and I feel the pain they are going through as a result of this death but I appeal to them to remain calm and accord Fidel a befitting burial,” she said.

The deputy governor says giving Fidel a befitting burial ceremony is the only gift the youth can offer to the fallen young leader.

Speaking in Bondo while overseeing the ongoing preparations a head of the burial on Saturday, Ruth said plans are complete to accommodate all mourners.

She said the burial committees that were set up have managed to work out on all logistics and expect that the burial ceremony will go on as planned.

“The family sent me to come over and see what is going on the ground. I can confirm to you that all preparations are complete and ready to bury Fidel without any hitches,” she said.
