President Uhuru Kenyatta has called on young people to step out and take up the 30 percent tender stake as required by the constitution.

President Kenyatta was speaking at Kabarak University when he presided over the institution's 10th graduation ceremony where he said that he believes that the youth have the capability to start up businesses that will help in the reduction of the number of the unemployed youth in the country.

He also promised that his government will work together with the youth and help them grow their businesses and the creation of job opportunities for other youths.

"My government is going to work with the youth in helping to grow the various businesses they have established and use the same platform to create more jobs for other youths as well," he said.

The president called on the youth to team up and apply for the Uwezo fund to enable them have finances to start up the businesses. He also urged all universities to embrace the use of modern technology.
