The Governor says that it will not be easy for Jubilee to retain power in the August 8 polls.

Speaking when he was officially welcomed to the National Super Alliance (NASA) on Thursday, the Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) leader said that Jubilee government has terribly failed Kenyans.

The governor said that the country’s economy has deteriorated under Jubilee’s watch.

Ruto also criticized Jubilee for failing to create jobs. The governor said that thousands of graduates are languishing in unemployment.

“Jubilee has failed Kenyans, they have not delivered what they promised and should expect a tough battle in August,” he said.

The Governor who has since declared support for NASA urged Kenyans to make informed choices in the August polls. Ruto also urged Kenyans to remain peaceful ahead of the general elections.

Ruto’s move to support NASA has been criticised by some politicians allied to Jubilee with some political analysts terming it a political blunder.

Governor Ruto, a critic of Deputy President William Ruto has however defended his move exuding confidence of retaining his Bomet in August and also contesting for the presidential seat in the 2022 general election.
