According to the vocal lawmaker, NASA has no right to criticize or speak on the Jubilee Party nominations that botched last week.

In an interview with a local daily on Sunday, Duale said that Jubilee Party was better off than NASA despite their primaries being called off last week.

“Raila Odinga and NASA  have no moral authority to criticize or question our party affairs,” he said.

The National Assembly leader of Majority said that last week's botched JP primaries were peaceful despite the anomalies experienced.

“It is laughable to hear NASA claim that they are better off than us on primaries when their nomination exercise have been marred with fights, chaos and acts of hooliganism,” he said.

Duale said that Jubilee Party will remain united despite botched nominations last week, adding that the party has put in place mechanisms to ensure the nomination exercise that kicked off on Monday and which will run to Wednesday goes on successfully.

Jubilee Party nominations botched last week, forcing the party to cancel the  whole exercise that has since been rescheduled.

On Saturday, NASA co-principal Raila Odinga criticized the Jubilee party’s botched nomination saying that ODM was better off than the ruling party.

Jubilee Party has since rescheduled its nomination exercise  to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

This is as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati on Sunday said that the ongoing party primaries  whose deadline is on Wednesday will not be extended.
