Duale maintains that NASA has no numbers to claim that it will trounce President Uhuru Kenyatta in August.
Speaking during the Jubilee Party (JP) National delegates meeting at the Bomas of Kenya on Saturday, Duale said that NASA is ‘day dreaming’ about beating Jubilee.
“NASA should stop ‘day dreaming’ and realize that they don’t have the numbers to trounce Jubilee in August,” said Duale, who is also the leader of majority the National Assembly.
The MP said that NASA cannot trounce UhuRuto unless the alliance rigs the polls.
He asked NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka to prepare for another five years in opposition.
He claimed that NASA leaders are selfish and cannot be trusted with the country’s leadership.
“Our advice to NASA leaders is for them to get ready for another five years in the opposition,” he said as quoted by Tuko.co.ke.
Duale said that Uhuru’s re-election in August is guaranteed based on the development agenda his government has been able to deliver since taking power in 2013.
