(Photo: the-star.co.ke)Controversial Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has laughed off National Super Alliance (NASA) claim that it has over 10 Million guaranteed votes to send Jubilee government home in the August 8 general election.
Kuria says that NASA cannot afford even five million votes saying that the alliance is ‘cooking’ up figures to confuse Kenyans ahead of the polls.
In an interview with the Daily Nation, Kuria said that NASA has no numbers to challenge President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.
“NASA should stop lying to Kenyans because it cannot afford the 10 Million votes it is talking about,” he said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
Kuria said that Uhuru’s re-election August is a done deal.
He said that Jubilee numbers are intact adding that NASA cannot match Uhuru’s tyranny of numbers.
“We all know that nothing has changed from the 2013 general election in terms of numbers and NASA should expect another defeat come August 8,” he said.
Kuria said that Jubilee is determined to win the August 8 election. The controversial Gatundu South MP urged Kenyans to stand with Jubilee saying it will deliver more projects if granted a second term.
NASA leaders are claiming that they have 10 Million guaranteed votes to win the August 8 general election.
Last week, National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) chairman Francis Ole Kaparo warned NASA against the 10 Million vote campaign tag saying it could trigger tension in the country.
Kaparo also warned politicians against zoning some parts of the country as their strongholds.
