The Jubilee Party has strongly criticised the Supreme Court of Kenya saying the court was biased when dealing with matters relating to them and opposition NASA.
Jubilee claimed that the court was giving NASA undue preference in hearing and determining cases.
Speaking at a press conference at the Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi, Jubilee Party secretary general Raphael Tuju questioned the rationale the court used in deciding to hurriedly hear the NASA petition seeking postponement of today's election.
Tuju lamented that a case they had earlier filed against NASA leader Raila Odinga over contempt of court had only been certified as urgent but set for hearing after the election.
"The Supreme Court was not able to find time to hear our case until Friday. The harm would have already been done," he said.
In the case, Jubilee had sought to bar Raila from threatening voters on the election day.
He was accompanied by former Senate Speaker Ekwe Ethuro, former MPs Danson Mungatana (Garsen) and Ababu Namwamba (Budalangi).
