[Photo|Odeke Ojaamong]Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has threatened to sack all striking nurses in the county. He warned that if the Council of Governors give county governments the go-ahead to sack the nurses, in case they fail to return to work, he will have no option."The striking nurses will have themselves to blame if the order by the Council of Governors will lead to their being declared redundant," said Ojaamong."It is not me firing the nurses. It is the nurses themselves who absconded duty. I have been pushed to the wall and I have no choice but to start everything afresh," he added, Friday.Ojaamong who is serving his second term, noted already his government through the County Public Service Board had employed some nurses who had been posted to the County Referral Hospital.
