Renowned television siren Yvonne Okwara Matole has hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta over his cabinet list released recently.

According to Yvonne, the list was a violation of the constitution as it did not meet the two-thirds principle.

''What does it say about us that the executive and parliament are in clear violation of the supreme law of the land. A clear contravention of a court's order that ruled that the president's last cabinet was not properly constituted... The executive and parliament have no honour. The failure to implement the gender rule is a matter of principle and it sets the foundation for future betrayal,'' Yvonne Okwara said.

Yvonne was postulating on her ''My Take'' programme.

She said that the push for the gender principle to be respected was not a feminist agenda but a push for equality.
