Speaking in Nairobi on Sunday, after a National Executive Committee meeting, Zani said the party will not support Jubilee's bid to alter the Elections Act.

She said they will not allow Jubilee to coerce the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) into rigging the 2017 polls in their favour.

She accused the government of exaggerating the amount of money required to purchase electoral equipment, so as not to fund the project, hence preparing ground for rigging.

"There is a plot to sabotage the next general elections by the Jubilee government. The government is planning not to purchase the required electoral equipment for next year's elections and this is unacceptable. This makes us believe that they are planning to rig the elections come 2017," said Zani.

She said ODM had not been asked to make amendments to the electoral reforms, adding that the party will not allow Jubilee to arm-twist the electoral body.
