Agnes Zani has exuded confidence that ODM leader Raila Odinga has a ‘real’ chance of beating President Uhuru Kenyatta in this year’s elections.
The Jubilee team has repeatedly maintained that the opposition has nothing to offer with Deputy President William Ruto leading the onslaught.
But yet in another hint that Odinga would be NASA flag bearer, Zani, who doubles as ODM Secretary General, said the repeated claims by Jubilee on tyranny of numbers, was a fallacy.
“If you do your calculations well, Odinga has now numbers which Jubilee has been talking about. We only need to clean the register and things work out,” she said in an interview at Lavington.
She added: “The tyranny of numbers is now a forgotten fallacy and the president should start packing. That is my only advice for him.”
On Wednesday, four parties among them ODM of Raila Odinga, ANC (Musalia Mudavadi), Wiper (Kalonzo Musyoka) and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula signed an agreement that gave birth to National Super Alliance.
