The two will lead opposition politicians to the county to address rallies aimed at bolstering support for the orange party.

Raila will use the occasion to officiate at ODM acting Secretary General Dr Agnes Zani's thanksgiving ceremony at Baraza Park in Matuga on Friday.

Zani took over the ODM acting SG position about three months ago following the resignation of Budalangi MP ababu Namwamba.

Namwamba held the position for more than two years and was at one time at loggerheads with Dr Zani over it.

During his resignation, he said some ODM officials had frustrated him and could not allow him dispense his duties freely.

Raila began a four-day tour of the Coast region and is foreshadowed to address rallies in Oloitokitok, Taveta, Wundanyi, Mwatate and Voi while on Friday he will visit Ukunda and Kwale town.

It is not known whether Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya will attend any of Raila's events following his recent announcement that he would work with the Jubilee administration.

He has not however, openly indicated whether he will defend his seat as governor on a Jubilee Party ticket.
