ODM Secretary General Dr Agnes Zani has reaffirmed the party's commitment to conduct a credible nomination exercise that will avert any fallout.
Speaking during the ODM Women aspirants meeting at Multimedia University on Monday, Zani said the party which has in the past been on the spotlight for shambolic nominations is determined to get it right this time round.
Preaching the gospel of unity, the Nominated Senator urged the losers during the nominations to support those who will clinch the party tickets to run for various positions, a move she says will consolidate the party's support bases.
Keen to ensure that as many women as possible are elected come August, Zani assured aspirants that the party is going to provide conducive political environment for everyone to campaign.
With Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo being the only ODM female lawmaker who was not elected on the platform of affirmative action, Zani exuded confidence that the trend will change come August.
She added that the party is on the right course to address the two-third gender rule.
