Ugandan media personality Zari Hassan has bailed out of the Founders Entrepreneurship Forum set to take place on Friday in Nairobi.
The socialite was set to take part in the event alongside KTN anchor Betty Kyalo however, on Wednesday she announced that she will not be taking part in the event.
Zari took to her Instagram page to make the announcement citing 'unforseen circumstances on the side of the organizers of the event."
"I know so many were excited and looking forward to this weekend and so was I, but due to unforeseen circumstances on the side of the organizers of the event I will not be coming to the Founders Enterprenuership Forum taking place on Nov.17th. I will keep you informed of any changes or developments," she said via her Instagram page.
According to the organizers the current political uncertainty also played a part in international speakers opting out of the event.
"It was determined that the political developments in Nairobi and the effects of the activity which will be happening at the airport, Mombasa road and town that same day have proved possible to pose a risk to our international speakers," the organizers said.
