According to Ze Maria Wendo executed his role perfectly during the league opener against Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday.

“ Wendo is very important. I know fans want us to keep striking but  people don’t understand that there has to be a balance between attacking, midfield and defending,” said Ze Maria.

Wendo joined Gor Mahia in 2015 from National Super League side Bidco United.

During the Sunday match, Gor Mahia ended up winning with three goals to one.
