Gor Mahia head coach Jose Fereira commonly known as Ze Maria has said his charges will have to put a fighting spirit in order to win the league.
Speaking in the wake of his sides 1-0 win over Kakamega Homeboyz Ze Maria said that it was not an easy Win.
"If we have to win this league we have to continue this way and fight hard because as I have said before all teams want to play well and beat Gor Mahia ," he said.
"It was very tough game because they ( Kakamega Homeboyz ) played well in the first half and made it difficult for us. My players were not confident enough in the first half but in the second half we played better and the most important thing was three points. We had to win because we lost three points last week,"he added.
The 2015 champions face Sony Sugar in the next league clash.
