Gor Mahia FC Head Coach Jose ‘Ze Maria’ Marcelo Ferreira has welcomed an extended training season ahead of their clash against Thika United.
Ze Maria has said that the week-long training before their match against on Sunday will give his side reprieve following a congested schedule.

“It was not easy playing three experienced teams in a week but my players showed great character and ensured that we collected all the points in that week,” Ferreira said.
“Now we have a week before our next match and I think this will be enough time for us to recharge as we work towards another victory.”
The match against Thika will be staged at the Nyayo National Stadium after a special request was placed by Gor with the venue still locked for renovations.
