Zoo FC has heaped more misery on Thika United's survival mission in the Kenya Premier League after edging them out 2-1 in a midweek clash staged at Kericho Green Stadium Wednesday.

Nicholas Kipkirui opened the scoring sheet for the hosts in the 15th minute from a Madoya cross.

Zoo earned their second through Dominic Ouma who latched on another Madoya corner kick in the 39th minute.

Shami Kibwana was to pull one for Thika in the 56th minute after connecting well to a Eugene Mukangula cross in the box  but that was all they raised for the clash.

The game ended 2-1 for Zoo.

Zoo have 40 points while Thika remain with 35.
