Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, met former President Daniel Arap Moi on his first day tour of the larger Rift Valley region on Saturday.
Accompanied by Moi's son, Baringo County Senator Gideon Moi, Joho held talks with Moi as he sought political blessings from the country's second president.
Several leaders accompanied the two.
MPs; Teddy Mwambire (Ganze), Omar Mwinyi (Changamwe), Mishi Mboko (Likoni), Florence Mutua (Busia Woman Representative), Harub Khatri (Mombasa County Assembly Speaker), Zuleikha Hassan (Kwale Woman Representative) while KANU Secretary-General, Nick Salat accompanied his boss, Gideon Moi among others.
Details of the Kabarak meeting remains scanty.
The ODM deputy party leader met the KANU chairman after on May 31, in Mombasa where Joho pledged to work with him to bring Deputy President William Ruto's presidential ambitions to an end in 2022.
