Njeri's three children were crushed to death at Maili Kumi trading centre on December 1 as they walked along the road.

A driver, who witnesses said as drunk, lost control of his saloon car and smashed the three who were along a walk-way.

Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika visited the family on Saturday and condoled the teary mother.

"Death is such a cruel thing. Especially the death of a child. It's even worse when a family loses three children at a go," Kihika said.

Kihika said the family is deeply hurt by the loss and asked for prayers.

"They are going through a painful mourning period. Let us join hands and pray to God to give the family strength during this difficult period," she added.
