Barely a week after Hivisasa.com highlighted collapsing buildings and toilets at Magena Primary School in Sensi ward Kisii County, the school has now completely demolished the toilets.

The public now wants the school administration to come out clear and explain to the public whether they have ever received funds to cater for the toilets.

The school which seems abandoned for a reason the administration did not want to disclose has suffered, the poor infrastructure has raised alarm to even local radio stations.

According to residents of Kitutu Chache North, schools especially primary schools are suffering from most of them lacking proper buildings.

"Our primary schools are dying, the buildings and toilets are at a bad state. We ask the area MP to consider assisting schools for the sake of our children," said one parent.

They are now asking the long-serving member of parliament in Gusii Jimmy Nuru Angwenyi to give Education first priority.

"This school is pathetic. The building is totally collapsing. We don't have water. The school has been isolated for long. We ask the area member of parliament Jimmy Angwenyi to address this issue so our children can have a conducive environment for learning," said a parent who requested anonymity.
