In a video doing rounds on social media, the outspoken pastor warned the media against reporting false information about him.

This comes following reports that Ng'ang'a had been arrested on Thursday night over allegations of conning a businessman Sh3.6 million.

The reports indicate that he spent the night at the Central Police Station before being released on Friday morning on police bond.

“He had agreed to pay but he has been dragging to honour that agreement so we decided to process his tile and take him to court,” said Starehe Police Commander Stanley Atavachi as quoted by Kiss 100.

Ng'ang'a has however denied the allegations, accusing the media of maligning his name.

"Wewe unadanganya Wakenya niko jela, juzi mmesema nimeenda kujifungia mstuni, nikiombea nini? Niombee hiyo mambo ya ujinga ujinga mko nayo? Unadanganya Ng'ang'a ameiba million tano, wewe chunga akili yako, kama hutachunga, I promise you the same again, (You lied to Kenyans I was in jail and the other day you said I had gone to the wilderness to pray...Today you say I stole Sh5 million. I'm warning you, I'll not spare you)," he said.
