"The County Government of Mombasa through its Department of Trade, Tourism and Investment cordially invites you all to the ongoing 2018 Mombasa International ASK show.

This year’s theme is “Promoting Innovation and Technology in Agriculture and Trade.”

With the most of the key transport infrastructure in place such a well developed seaport, an international airport, smooth well connected rail service and an expansive road network coupled with prestige beaches, magnificent heritage sites and a warm charming hospitable personality, Mombasa is distinctively the preferred premier business and tourism hub in the region.

The Mombasa Vision 2035 is an ambitious development plan for gateway city which hosts the largest port in East Africa.

With the reverse implementation of operational reforms, the County Government of Mombasa embodied the true spirit of devolution by ensuring quality service delivery is provided right at the finger tips of all its residents.

This is largely due to the automation of key business processes which has enabled the business community and the private sector to register and pay for their permits online and through mobile phone platforms.

President Uhuru Kenyatta was expected to officially open the event on Thursday before UK Prime Minister jetted in the country.
