Governor Ali Hassan Joho has continued with his attacks against Deputy President William Ruto, few days after the DP attacked opposition leader Raila Odinga during his tour of Mombasa on Sunday.
While in Migori, Joho slammed Ruto, saying he is not Raila's equal and so he should desist from talking ill about the former prime minister and ODM party leader.

Joho was flanked by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed as they campaigned for Ochillo Ayacko, ODM candidate in Migori senatorial by-election slated for October 8.
"Junet told him, ''You're not equal to Raila Amolo Odinga. It'll take you 50 or 100 more years to be where Raila is now, politically". And I told him (Ruto), "A thief is not in a position to identify a con man". We are telling these people that Raila is not their size, their match, he is not their equal. Come and face me first before attacking Raila," Joho said amid cheers from the crowd.
Speaking in Majaoni, Kisauni, Mombasa, Ruto said ODM used to summon him when he was still its member, the way Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa and her Msambweni counterpart Suleiman Dori are being summoned for supporting him.

“I was in ODM ...that is where they started summoning me like what they are doing to Jumwa and Dori. They ensured that I left the party and even took me to court. That is what they want to bring in Jubilee but I want to tell them that will not happen,” Ruto said adding that Odinga was using handshake "to bring conmanship, confusion, and hypocrisy to Jubilee" Ruto said on Sunday.
The DP indicated Odinga's plan is to see him leave Jubilee “the way they did way back when I was in ODM” but he will not succeed, claims Joho, Junet and Raila himself strongly opposed.
