Eldoret Magistrate Naomi Wairimu while delivering the ruling on the divorce case filed by Kibor said she was satisfied that the marriage between Kibor and his third wife, Naomi cannot go on.

“The decision was made today. The court has looked at claims by my client and response from the wife and decided that the marriage cannot go on. The court has therefore allowed Kibor to divorce Naomi,” Amos Magut, Kibor’s lawyer told the press outside the court minutes after the ruling, Tuesday.

The two have been married for over 40 years and blessed with six children.

While filing the divorce case in February this year, Kibor claimed that Jeptoo left their matrimonial home, thus denying him conjugal rights and that she has not been supportive among other allegations.

This is the second time Kibor, 85 has been allowed to divorce his wife.

He was in 2017 allowed to divorce his second wife, Josephine Jepkoech whom they had been married for 52 years.
