This is unlike him who has always been vocal on matters of national importance. The legislator who has since been branded a rebel in the Jubilee party has been vocal when it comes to issues around integrity and corruption.

Before he went into 'hiding', Keter had come out as the main critic of Deputy President Wiliam Ruto.

He had even gone to an extent of declaring that he would mount a campaign across the country to sensitize Kenyans not to elect the DP as the next president in the 2022 general elections.

However, those sentiments put him on a collision path with a majority of elected leaders in the DPs backyard with Members of the Uasin Gishu County Assembly even threatening to ban him from visiting Eldoret town, where he frequented.

The two-time legislator’s Facebook account was equally active during the time he was vocal but it has since also gone mute.

He last posted on it on August 8, while passing a message of condolence to the late former World Champion in 400 meters hurdles Nicholas Bett who died following a tragic road accident.

Ever since the Facebook account remains idle.

What happened to Keter? Did he finally realize that fighting DP Ruto is digging his own political grave? Has he gone back to the drawing board ahead of the 2022 general elections?
