Vocal Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa has threatened to rally members of the public and storm a church in the town over alleged radical teachings.
Pastor Paul Mackenzie of Good News International Church - Malindi, was once arrested, detained an charged for radicalisation of children and the community. He allegedly teaches the community against formal education and access to health facilities.

Police officers raided the church in October 2017, arrested the pastor alongside other church members and rescued 63 children from the church.
According to Jumwa, she has received many complaints from Malindi residents over the pastor, saying the community is tired of him.

"The community is tired of him. I have received so many complains. Although the case is before the court, people are tired of his extreme religious teachings. It is absurd that despite being arrested and charged, the pastor continues radicalising school children," Jumwa said.
On December 24, Jumwa joined David Kadenge the Malindi town MCA and his Ganda counterpart Abdere and celebrated Christmas party with children at Sinbad park.
"Indeed today’s event has left this kids with memories that they will forever cherish in their lives. As Christians across the World we should share our time and what we have with those in needy," said the former Kilifi County Woman Representative.
