Renowned TV journalist Tony Gachoka has again jibed Deputy President William Ruto over his 2022 presidential ambitions.
Gachoka, the KTN's Pointblank show host, mocked the DP saying he has been 'campaigning against himself' since the last elections, yet the next polls were three years away.
In a tweet on Friday, the politician turned journalist also took a dig at Ruto's supporters saying they have been celebrating his 'win' in a nonexistent election.
"DP William Ruto often surprises me. He’s been running for President against himself the last 2 years and is still campaigning 3 years ahead of elections. His supporters claim he has won against imaginary candidates. ”Ambition without knowledge is like a ship on Land”, " Gachoka tweeted.
This is not the first time Gachoka is dismissing the DP's presidential bid. A few ago, he also discredited Ruto's presidential bid.
"Does DP Ruto actually still think he speaks for the Jubilee administration? Does he speak for Uhuru's Big 4 agenda? Is his tweet propaganda/fake news? Isn’t all he does the opposite of Uhuru and his handshake aspirations? Over to you," he posted recently.
Political analyst Edward Kisiang'ani has opined the TV host is a DP's critic, adding his show was launched to fight Ruto.
"It is interesting that every guest Tony Gachoka hosts on Pointblank show at KTN is a fierce critic of DP Ruto. It is no longer difficult to tell why the program was recently launched. But is it sustainable and ethical to execute a program targeting an individual?" Kisiang'ani posed.
