Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai has deleted her emotional letter to President Uhuru Kenyatta in which she sought his intervention in the Sh14.4 billion tax evasion case facing her parents.
Anerlisa who is the daughter of directors of Keroche Breweries Tabitha Karanja and her husband Joseph Muigai had pleaded with the president through the letter that she shared on her Instagram page to offer protection to businessmen in the country.
"Dear Our President (Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta) I am writing in regards to our local entrepreneurs. I am humbly requesting you to intervene and help/protect us all in businesses," part of her letter which has since then been deleted read.
The emotional letter has however gone missing on her Instagram page, an indication that she may have deleted it.
Anerlisa had earlier on prior to sharing the letter to the president, termed the arrest of her parents as harassment.
"It doesn't matter what position you are in, nobody should ever watch their mother go through harassment," Anerlisa's Instagram post read.
It still remains unclear as to what exactly motivated Anerlisa's move to delete the letter. She, however, later on, shared another post that communicated optimism.
The Keroche Breweries directors have so far been released on bail as the case continues.
