Deputy President William Ruto has further taken a swipe at ODM party leader Raila Odinga after the alleged Kibra violence.
Taking the message to his Twitter account on Wednesday, DP Ruto claimed that Raila Odinga is heading to disrupt Jubilee party.
According to him, the former Prime Minister whom he is referring to 'Tinga' is fronting what is against the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) which was formed by President Uhuru Kenyatta and him (Raila) as a peace deal following their Handshake.
''Tinga/his party's trail of political conmanship/deceit from Kanu thro' Cord to Nasa&now heading to Jubilee;and litany of violence from 82'coup to kibra cannot be hidden behind BBI. As a Minimum must 1) PUBLICLY renounce violence as a political tool.2)UNDERTAKE to accept defeat,'' tweeted Ruto.
Ruto's sentiments come after some of Jubilee leaders who were McDonald Mariga's agents were reportedly mishandled during November 7 polls.
The deputy president had also urged the ODM party to apologise for what happened in Kibra alleging that the violence witnessed was sponsored by the party.
"As Kenyans, we demand that Tinga/his party unconditionally, unequivocally and publicly renounce the culture of violence, chaos, terror and gangsterism their signature modus operandi as witnessed in Kibra and unreservedly apologise to victims past and present for their hurt and loss," he posted.
Ruto who has on several occasions accused Raila of not accepting defeat despite being triumphed in an election is set to vie on a Jubilee party ticket in 2022 for Presidency.
However, Raila has not made it public whether he will vie or not.
