Governor Ann Waiguru has vowed to sue King Kaka for accusing her of plundering National Youth Service funds in his latest song "Wajinga Nyinyi" released on 14 December.
The governor has ordered the artist to apologize for his inflammatory song failure to which she will file a legal action against him.
In the song, the artist has accused Kirinyaga Governor of misusing NYS funds by buying a pen at sh8000 which costs sh20.
"Ati Waiguru ako kwa office na story ya NYS tulishasahau. Biro moja alibuy 8 thao Biro tunanunuanga mbao. Either sisi ndio wajinga ama ako na marking scheme ya Accau," reads part of the lyrics.
The song has continued to elicit mixed reactions with some politicians censuring and hitting out at him.
After the Governor's threats to sue the artist post, Kenyans took to Facebook to express their feelings by criticizing and daring her to arrest the artist.
